Cobh Wanderers 0 – 1 Templemount 16-04-2008 With the midweek games underway the Juniors hosted Templemount on this windy Wednesday night at the Old Church Park. After a hard days work from all the Junior players there interest was minimal interest in the game as the first half developed into a dismal game with neither side creating many chances. That said, Templemount did take the lead after 20minutes. Paddy Brady, trying his Liam Brady trick on the half way line managed to go passed 1 Templemount player but lost the ball to a 2nd Templemount player tackled him and took the ball away. Brady, totally shocked by this, stood on the half way line complaining to the referee while Templemount moved down the wing and crossed the ball to score. The Juniors huffed and puffed for the remainder of the game without much end result or threat to the Templemount goal. It was only in the last 5 minutes that 2 clear cut chances were created – unfortunately both fell to O’Hanlon and he pulled both wide of the target.
